On the 4th day of November the Crazy Eights Tribe of Arapahoe Nation met at the teepee of Red Feather and Sly Fox at 3pm. Attendees: Big Oak and Little Acorn Red Feather and Sly Fox Fuzzy Pup and Prancing Coyote Falling Leaf and Singing Flower Swimming Wolf and Stargazer Tiger Lily Sly Fox opened the meeting by with 12 beats of the tribal tom-tom. All big Braves and little princesses then joined to form the unbroken circle and chanted the pledge and aims in unison. The princesses passed the talking stick around so each princess could give a report of how they earned their Wampum for their various good deeds. Prancing Coyote and Fuzzy Pup earned a totem piece and a wing by walking in the Walk of Hope. Stargazer and Swimming Wolf earned a totem piece for working a game booth at their church's Fall Festival. All member present earned a totem piece for packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. The Tribe ate snacks of popcorn, grapes, and goldfish. The Tribe packed the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Contents included: - bead bracelets made by the Princesses - notes written by the Princesses - colored pens, pencils, and markers - drawing pads - journals - slinkies - toothbrushes - beanie babies - hair brushes - lots of other fun and useful items. It was decided that the Tribe would attend the NCSU Men's Basketball game on Saturday, December 29, at 2:30 PM. The Crazy Eights ended the meeting with the closing prayer. Tallykeeper Tiger Lily handed out beads.
